The EPA and Pyrolysis

Many people do not k now that the EPA has very stringent regulations for what is considered to be pyrolysis.  The issue is one of combustion and the gases/byproducts that are released as the combustion process consumes raw material.  Pyrolysis does not cause the combustion process to occur since it is driven by extremely high temperatures and there is no oxygen present.  Because of this difference, there are limited emission from the pyrolysis process.
